What is
the Giken Group's Injection Molding Capability?
The
Group operates a 8,000 square metre injection molding factory in
Batam, Indonesia. Currently, it operates a total of 60 high
precision molding machines (both the hydraulic and electric type)
that ranges from 18 tons to a maximum of 350 tons.
The
Giken Group’s strength in injection molding lies in its ability to
provide engineering molding. Besides producing high precision
plastic molded parts, the Giken Group has the engineering capability
to do in-house molding die design changes and physical die
modification and related repair and maintenance works.
The
Giken Group Injection Molding operations conducts high level quality
control using sophisticated high grade testing equipment.

What
is the Giken Group's Microshaft
Manufacturing Capability?
The
Group carries out its microshaft manufacturing activities in its
factories in both Ang Mo Kio, Singapore and Changzhou, China.
It
is able to produce high precision microshafts with sub-micron
specifications and precision turned parts in accordance with
customer requirements.
In
the China plant, it has the advantage of using China-made raw
materials, thereby obtaining cost efficiency. These China-made
materials has been used for the last few years and widely accepted
by our Japanese, American and European customers in China.
Both
the Singapore and China plant operate with integrated production
facilities comprising cutting, auto-lathes (including CNC and
Escomatic), heat treatment (both for heat treatment and nitrogenous
hardening), grinding/polishing and super finishing machineries.
